Blinded!

There was a man on death bed in a hospital .He had an operation of his backbone.He was in severe pain.He used to scream.It was difficult for the patient next to him to hear his cries and bear his pain.The first man used to lie on his belly.Sometimes when his pain subsided he used to ask the patient next to him what he was doing.The second used to tell him that there was a window near his bed and he was looking out of the window .He used to tell him beautiful stories about beauty ,scenery,kids,weather and other things such like.After some time the second old patient died and the first had recovered a little bit.He told nurses that he wanted to be shifted to the bed left by the story teller as their was a window near it.He wanted to see the beautiful scenes with his own eyes that he had heard about from his neighbour patient.When he was shifted he requested the nurses to help him in lifting his head so he could see out of the window .They were surprised but they complied.When he looked out of the window he cried as there was nothing outside the window.There was a dark alley full of garbage,filth and junk.He felt sad and dejected.The nurses asked why he was sad.He told them about the stories that the second man had told him. At this the nurses were astonished and the said it was impossible as that man was BLIND!
