A little boy ran to "Shivana" (a pre-Islamic Iranian philosopher) and said, "My mother has decided to sacrifice my innocent little sister on the footsteps of the great idol, at the behest of the temple priest. Please save her life if you can." Shivana immediately went to the temple with the boy and saw that the woman had tied the girl's hands and feet with ropes, holding a knife in her hand and reading something with her eyes closed.
Many people had gathered around the woman, and the temple priest was sitting on a big rock near the idol, watching everything with great pride. When Shivana approached the woman, he saw that she loved her daughter very much and was hugging her and kissing her affectionately, but still wanted to sacrifice her for the idol's satisfaction.
Shivana asked her why she wanted to sacrifice her own daughter, and the woman replied, "The priest has guided me to sacrifice my dearest being for the pleasure of the idol, so that all the difficulties in my life would be resolved forever."
Shivana smiled and said, "But this little girl is your dearest being, isn't she? You intended to kill her. Your most precious being is sitting on that rock, the priest who told you to sacrifice an innocent little girl to satisfy the idol. This idol is not foolish, he wants the sacrifice of your most precious being...".
The woman realized her mistake and broke down in tears. She untied her daughter and left the temple with Shivana and the boy.
