Our education system produces neither good students nor good citizens

According to HEC chairman, neither good pupils nor decent citizens are produced by our educational system.
Fauzia Shamim chaired the discussion, which was themed "Higher Education: Creating Good Citizens, not Just Good Students." She requested an explanation from Prof Dr Tariq Banuri, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), on how universities could produce decent citizens rather than just brilliant pupils.
