At the age of 91, the eminent broadcaster, author, and orator Zia Mohyeddin passed away in Karachi. Mohyeddin, a talented actor and Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) graduate, spent 47 years working in the UK and produced timeless programs for PTV. He earned numerous awards, including the Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Hilal-i-Imtiaz as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Pakistani community in Dubai, in appreciation of his dedication to educating theatre performers. His demise has drawn many condolences on social media.
