ردینہ!کاش تو دیکھتی اور تو ہرگز نہ دیکھ سکے گی کہ میں آج پھر سے صحرا میں دشمنوں کو کعبے کا راستہ دکھا رہا ہوں۔میں نہ چاہتے ہوئے بھی ہاتھی کی رفتار سے چل رہا ہوں اور تو یہ کیسے جان سکتی ہے کہ صحرا میں ہاتھی کی رفتار کیا ہوتی ہے؟ردینہ! اب کہ ابرہہہ اپنی ہی ابابیلوں کے سائے تلے مکمل عزم کے ساتھ بڑھتا چلا جا رہا ہے۔کعبے کے بتوں اور دیواروں کی تباہی ہماری راہ دیکھتی ہے۔
ردینہ!میں ابرہہہ کے داو سے واقف ہوں لیکن رب کعبہ کے پیچ نہیں جانتا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ردینہ! افسوس صد افسوس،میرا مالک،ایک ہارے ہوئے سردار کے مسائل نہیں سمجھ سکتا۔
سو میں نے فیصلہ کر لیا ہے۔۔۔۔
In the first scene of the story, Nafeel bemoans his inability to see his problems and explains the challenging task of leading his adversaries to the holy Kaaba to Radeena, his beloved. Unbeknownst to Radeena, who cannot fathom the speed at which such a big monster can move, the protagonist exposes his unwavering resolve by equating his movement to that of an elephant.
Nafeel regrets the choice. He does, however, admit that his understanding of the divine intent as it pertains to the Kaaba is inadequate.
Nafeel claims that he cannot understand the intricacies of the master. He makes a decisive choice with a heavy heart, leaving the readers curious as to what is in store for him. In "Nafeel," Shah depicts a compelling image of a protagonist torn between his obligations, his desires, and his relationship with the Holy. His deft narrative, conciseness, and evocative language create a compelling picture. This short narrative explores themes of sacrifice, tenacity, and the boundaries of human comprehension, leaving an enduring impression.
