Translation: Rains have the ability to erase our ephemeral existence, for we are only transient imprints on walls, drenched in trepidation.

We, the common people who have always been excluded from the power structure, are sick of being exploited as political and state campaigns' fodder and fuel. Our concerns are frequently disregarded by people in positions of authority, and our voices are rarely heard. Our country's current situation is extremely distressing, and it is past time for us to demand change.

Our political system's complexity simply serves to perplex and manipulate us. We feel helpless and voiceless while strong forces work behind the scenes to influence significant decision-making outcomes. Because of the secrecy surrounding these networks of power, it is challenging for us to comprehend and negotiate the true dynamics of power.

Our society is dominated by the ruling class, which also has a significant amount of influence over social, economic, and political issues. Depending on the particular setting and societal structure, there can be a wide range of interactions between these two groups. The reality that common people like us are frequently excluded from these circles of power, however, continues to be a constant.

Ishaq Dar, our finance minister, has resisted accepting blame for our country's dismal economic performance. He failed to take responsibility for his mistakes and instead shifted the blame on the opposing side. Such conduct casts severe doubt on both his qualification for the job and the degree to which our leaders value the welfare of the populace. An empire of neglect is perpetuated by apathetic rulers who are indifferent to the sufferings of the masses.

As an average citizen, I yearn for a government that will lead us through our difficulties like a lighthouse. Numerous challenges have plagued our country, impeding its stability and growth. My worries for the future of our nation's frail society have only grown as a result of the events of May 9, 2023.

At first, the appearance of a new political party offered us optimism for progress. That hope, however, was swiftly dashed when we recognized some of the people accused of terrorism. If these people are innocent, they ought to be freed. But they shouldn't be permitted to take part in politics or influence our nation's future until they can show their innocence. The poor workers of the political party are languishing in jails and nobody cares for those who were manipulated by false narratives. Alas!

Politicians must focus more on the needs of the common people and tackle the urgent problems our country is currently facing. We require a government that supports the values of democracy, the separation of powers, and the rule of law. Our leaders ought to be eminently qualified and ought to exemplify the wisdom of great leaders like Hazrat Umar (R.A.), who was renowned for his wise counsel and intelligent leadership.

But it is depressing to watch how our nation's policies frequently favor the wealthy and powerful. The Islamic Democratic Republic of Pakistan, as a whole, is opposed to this. As a well-educated person, I find myself wondering if it is worthwhile to continue living in a place where crime is on the rise and education is viewed as inferior to power.

Our leaders must set a positive example for our children and offer them chances and hope if they are to ensure a better future. Ignoring the opinions and worries of common Pakistanis will only exacerbate their suffering and instability. When the future of our nation is on the line, our leaders must be inspired to do more and give our beloved Pakistan's security and development top priority.

Be a lighthouse, guiding the weary souls.

Giving more people access to the political process is one approach to make sure that the government takes all Pakistanis' opinions into account when making decisions. All voices should be heard during the consultation, not only the views of the wealthy and powerful. More open forums would make it possible for regular people to voice their concerns and be properly heard, enhancing our democracy.

In order to lessen the suffering of the Pakistani people, it is also essential to concentrate on economic development. Since the British Indian Empire was divided in 1947, our economy has seen a number of difficulties and failures. It is time to prioritize the essential changes and show strong leadership to support our country's economic expansion.

The corporate sector may contribute significantly to boosting Pakistan's economy. More jobs and money can be made for the nation by encouraging a business-friendly atmosphere. Successful businesses expand, adding to the number of jobs and financial security for the general public.

By lowering draconian taxes and fees on corporations, the government may promote the expansion of the corporate sector. By doing this, businesses would have less work to do and would be encouraged to invest, grow, and add more jobs. We can benefit the economy as a whole and the lives of common people by encouraging business growth.

In conclusion, it is time for us to demand reform and a more inclusive system as normal citizens who have long been marginalized and excluded from the power equation. We require leaders who sincerely place the needs and ambitions of the populace first. We may work to improve the future of our beloved Pakistan by actively participating in politics, demanding accountability, and supporting laws that advance social and economic fairness.

Let's not give up and remain steadfast in our quest for a fair and egalitarian society, ensuring equality and legal, social, and economic justice for all. Together, we can effect the change that our country needs and ensure that every citizen is respected, represented, and given the authority they deserve in our political system.
