🔍 What is the FLTA Program?
A fully funded, non-degree, 9-month program by the U.S. Department of State, offering young Pakistani English teachers the opportunity to:
Refine teaching skills
Improve English proficiency
Experience U.S. culture
Teach Urdu/Punjabi/Pashto to U.S. students at U.S. institutions
Note: Grantees must return to Pakistan after completing the program.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Pakistani citizen with valid passport
Residing in Pakistan during the entire selection process
Early-career English teacher (preferably at university/college level)
Minimum 16 years of education
Teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
