Blues Poem

 When I lose the door keys.

That's the blues.

When I fumble and falter,

That's the blues.

When I am irrational, whimsical, and capricious,

That's the blues.

When I am unable to reciprocate good deeds,

That's the blues.

When I  lack conviction and lose self-esteem,

That's the blues.

When I doubt my resilience to rise again,

That's the blues.

When I consign my self to fate,

That's the blues.
