75 & Ailing!

I was born 75 years ago on 15 August 1947. My father passed away too early in 1948. I was captured by some power-hungry humanoids. These scoundrels usurped power and pulverized and debauched all my assets. All these wretched creatures were cowardly, corrupt, and of mediocre intelligence. They kept on fighting amongst them­selves for control and half of my body was lost in polit­i­cal squab­bles. They kept borrowing money from lenders, taxing the poor, and benefitting the rich. These imposters have plundered and ruined me. The tug of war is still going on breaking my frail body. I am 75 & ailing! !آزادی مبارک

PS: Each successive government in this country would be worse than the previous one.

The state­ment above is attrib­uted to Win­ston Churchill, but I can­not find it, as a speech or in a book: Where can I find it? Although it is widely and increas­ingly quoted in the Indian press and, given what is hap­pen­ing, he seems to have been prophetic! — K.P., India
