And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;



Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,



And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.



I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.


Robert Frost's masterwork of reflection and decision-making, "The Road Not Taken," takes place in a colorful scene where two roads split in beautiful yellow wood. The poet stood for a long time, examining each path as far as his eyes could see, tormented by the lament of uncertainty. He ultimately chose the less traveled route; its attractiveness and subliminal assertion of superiority since it called with a verdant freshness begging to be explored. The narrator understood the circular nature of life's journey, where one path inexorably leads to another, and regretted saving the first way for a later time. With a sigh that reverberates through time, he reflects in hindsight that he will always tell the story of those divergent routes. رابرٹ فراسٹ کا عکاسی اور فیصلہ سازی کا ماسٹر ورک، "دی روڈ ناٹ ٹیکن" ایک رنگین منظر میں ہوتا ہے جہاں دو سڑکیں تقسیم ہوتی ہیں۔ شاعر کافی دیر تک کھڑا رہا، ہر راستے کو جہاں تک اس کی نظر نظر آتی تھی، بے یقینی کے نوحہ سے تڑپتا رہا۔ اس نے بالآخر کم سفر کرنے والے راستے کا انتخاب کیا۔ اس کی کشش اور فوقیت کا اعلیٰ دعویٰ چونکہ اس نے ایک سبز تازگی کے ساتھ دریافت کرنے کی درخواست کی۔ راوی نے زندگی کے سفر کی سرکلر نوعیت کو سمجھا، جہاں ایک راستہ دوسرے راستے کی طرف جاتا ہے، اور بعد میں پہلے راستے کو بچانے پر افسوس ہوا۔ ایک سانس کے ساتھ جو وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ گونجتا ہے، وہ پچھلی نظروں سے سوچتا ہے کہ وہ ہمیشہ ان مختلف راستوں کی کہانی سنائے گا۔ چونکہ اس نے کم اختیار کیے جانے والے راستے کا انتخاب کیا، اس لیے اس کی تقدیر ڈرامائی طور پر بدل گئی، جس سے تمام فرق پیدا ہو گئے — زندگی کے دوران فیصلوں کے اہم اثرات کا ثبوت۔
